Féile na Laoch (The Festival kompsat of Heroes) celebrates our cultural heroes, including storyteller, poets, kompsat actors, dancers, singers, and musicians. The féile was inspired by the life and work of one of Ireland's true cultural giants, Seán Ó Riada, and this year we commemorate 80 years since his birth and 40 years since his death.

The first weekend of Féile na Laoch at the start of August was a huge success, with the heroes and audience alike experiencing a unique event that drank deep from the well of inspiration and creativity. The second act at the beginning of October rounded it off wonderfully, and was again packed with events that provoked thought and inspired, from the Seán Ó Riada's Aifreann II to Éamon de Buitléar exploring our natural heritage, and everything in between. We wnat to thank everyone who joined us both in Cúil Aodha and online, and all who helped close our festival of creativity. See you in seven years!
