Sciaky, Inc. is a subsidiary of Phillips Service Industries (PSI) and provider of additives for the production of large metal parts of great value, has announced that it has received a purchase order from a major manufacturer of aerospace components to provide an electron beam afabbricazione Augmentation System (EBAM). The technology of EBAM Sciaky combines computer-aided design (CAD), an electron beam welding technology and processing layer-additive. Starting from a 3D model from a CAD program, Sciaky by a movement electron beam deposited metal, layer by layer, until the part reaches the shape nearing completion. From there, the form requires less processing post-production. EBAM allow the manufacturer for the production nevo sl of large pieces, virtually no waste.
